It was an evening of excitement for fun lovers in the UK who thronged the Indig02 arena for the 2face live show that went down during the weekend. It was attended by a cross section of colourful stars and fans alike who all came to show love and support for Africa’s number one music star.

VIDEO Premiere: AY.Com – E Fori Jiwa ft Pasuma Wonder + Maryland Boy

AY.COM is one of the easily recognizable names on the LasGidi streets. The artiste famed for his 2009 hit single “Pass Me Ur Love” has been working hard to put out another album. We’re told it should be out before the end of the year.
“E Fori Jiwa” is a previously-posted song featuring Yoruba/Fuji music veteran Pasuma Wonder. The cross-genre appeal is quite evident in the song/video. “Maryland Boy” is another track AY.Com recently put out. The video will be released soon. Check ‘em out below.

The NotJustOk Theme Song Competition

In August we announced the coming of the first official NotJustOk Music Concert taking place at the GET Arena in Lagos, Nigeria on December 17, 2011.
Last month we announced the official performance line-up for the concert which includes some of the biggest stars in Nigerian pop music (more names included).
Now, we are giving ONE (1) talented and obviously “not just ok” artiste the opportunity to perform alongside these music all-stars with the NotJustOk Theme Song Competition.

Participants are given complete creative freedom to use any beat/instrumental or create a beat of any genre and record a song that is “not just ok” in sound and theme. The song can be any style; rapping, singing, humming, WHATEVER… as long as the song embodies the theme of being “Not Just OK”.
We encourage you to get creative and use wordplay or any other funky ideas to stand out and create a unique song.
To enter, you MUST send your song in mp3 format to: THEMESONG@NOTJUSTOK.COM and be available to practice and perform at the show in Lagos on December 17, 2011.
The winner of the competition’s entry will be the official NotJustOk.com theme song AND they will perform at the concert and be a part of the official line-up of artistes.
CONTEST RULES:
* Entries will be accepted from today (November 11, 2011) until November 25, 2011.
* After all the entries have been received and thoroughly reviewed by the NotJustOK team, the TOP 10 entries will be posted on the site on December 2, 2011 for the general public to vote.
* Voting closes on December 9, 2011.
*The Winner will be announced on December 10, 2011.

His newest singles off the forthcoming album ‘Undeniable‘ gives a fresh look to what we might be expecting from the ‘don’.
‘Today Today‘ is a customary slow-tempo wedding song. Nothing from the ordinary but eLDee sings well on the Sarz-assisted beat. Memorable lyrics.
‘Wash Wash‘ is more upbeat. eLDee borrows the everyday tell-a-lie antics and rolls them up into a tune. Another excellent beat provided by Sarz.

D’banj, Psquare, Tiwa Savage Dominate Predictions List For TOP 10 MICS Concert

Much buzz has been made about the forthcoming Top 10 MICS musical concert daily as the online competition to determine the five artistes that will eventually perform alongside the five artistes previously unveiled by KOGA draws to a close this week.
Organizers of the concert KOGA, have announced that pop star D’banj, Psquare, R&B singers Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje, Rappers Ice Prince, Terry Tha Rapman, Sauce Kid, and Pop acts Terry G, Samklef, BrymO, Wande Coal, Wizkid lead the list of predictions sent in via Twitter and SMS.
According to KOGA, the identities of the remaining five will be unveiled by the organizers at a press conference slated for next week.
As revealed earlier, 2face Idibia, M.I, eLDee, Sir Shina Peters and fuji singer Obesere have been announced to perform live on stage come December 23, 2011 at the Lekki Sun Splash, Lagos.
‘This is an industry event as far as we are concern. It is an event by the people and for the masses. We are striving to bring back live concert and entertainment at a price generality of the people can afford’, a rep from KOGA says.
