Some staff of the supermarket were conveying money from one branch to the other, with police escort, when the gun men, believed to have trailed them, struck.
The vehicle conveying the money was ambushed at Umurelu Street side, behind Rumuola Junction and was sprayed with bullets, killing a staff of the supermarket and a police escort. Two other policemen in a back up escort vehicle had gun shot wounds.

In a chat with Baby she revealed to NigeriaFilms.Com that she was not starring in other people’s productions because most of the production houses who wanted her services only called her for deep s-x roles and as a results tried to take advantage of her because they believed she was more into s-x roles than anything else.
She continued that although she didn’t see anything wrong with s-x scenes, it didn’t mean that production houses should always be giving her scripts that demanded that she went fully naked in their movies amidst others with bad offer.
Reacting to whether it was affecting her career as an actress , she said she was okay with her position in the industry and always ready for any script from other production houses which were a bit decent than the other offers she had gotten.
“Just recently, I starred in a new production with Ramzy Noah in a movie directed by Kobbi Rana and in the movie I never went n-d- or played any s-x role but the producer was very glad he employed my services.”Through this movie. I will like the public to know that I am not only good in playing s-x roles” she added

After what seemed like the most glorious and fashionable (thanks to E!) relationship of the last decade, the couple have finally called it quits confirming rumours that have been flying around since the past few days.
Just today, Monday, October 31, 2011 Kim K officially filed for a divorce against her hubby Kris Humphries.
The reason for the sudden split up? Sources close to Kim K say that the marriage became shaky after both parties couldn’t decide on where to settle down. While Humphries wanted them to settle down in Minnesota, where he’s from, Kardashian who comes from Los Angeles wanted to stay close to her family. The 31-year-old also feels L.A is the best place for her career to grow.
The sudden break up comes as a surprise to some as it is barely two months they held their 10-million Dollar wedding while other feel it was destined to crash right from the start.
The couple looked so happy at their honeymoon which they spent at Hotel Santa Caterina on Italy’s Amalfi Coast…
In 2000, Kardashian married music producer Damon Thomas; their relationship ended in divorce in 2004. She also has dated in the past Ray J, NFL star Reggie Bush and US footballer Miles Austin.

E-x-c-l-u-s-i-v-e: AGN Denies Any Rumble In The Guild Over Ifeanyi Ubah’s Largesse
The oil mogul had reportedly made a donation of 20,000 US Dollars through his Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation to the guild, and had sponsored some members to the United States, where they met with Hollywood’s Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG). With reports making news that there is discountenance in the guild over the business tycoon’s generosity, the guild has finally made its stands known by denying any problem in the guild, and also put the record straight on the said largesse of the Capital Oil chief and the US trip by some of its members. Speaking through its National Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Yakubu, the Guild said the money was never donated to AGN but was given to those who made the trip to the United States and that the money was also part of their Basic Travel Allowance (BTA) and their flight tickets. |
Olisa Adibua Resumes At The Beat FM
Embattled OAP and Programmes Director at Beat FM Olisa Adibua on Monday, October 31, 2011 resumed his work as host of ‘The Morning Rush‘ on Beat FM 99.9 after serving a suspension for assaulting a staff, Adewunmi Oyekanmi.
Throughout his suspension which lasted for about 7 weeks, the broadcaster-entrepreneur had continued filming on the Globacom- sponsored music talent hunt – GloNaijaSings, where he’s resident judge.
Olisa returned on The Morning Rush as his usual self – part humorous part sarcastic. It was however not the usual affair as his long time co-host Oreka ‘Rhecks’ Godis who recently resigned from the station was not by his side. He co-hosted the show with Douglas who had mistakenly announced him and former OAP Oreka has the hosts.
Adibua never made reference to why he had been missing but kept cool and calm throughout the show.
You will recall that Olisa was on Thursday, September 8, 2011 enmeshed in a solo brawl with a subordinate in the Lagos office of the urban radio station. The assaulted, Adewunmi Oyekanmi suffered injuries in the head, face and other parts of the body, while his shirt was ripped and mobile phone trampled before he was thrown out of the premises at about 3a.m in the morning. The night news editor was pummelled for sleeping on the office couch.
The result of investigations promised by the management of Beat FM is yet to be made public.
While many awaited the eventual outcome of the Olisa-Adewunmi assault investigation, Beat FM sources had assured us that, the accused, Olisa Adibua, would definitely keep his job at the radio station. While officially away, we’re told he was regularly in touch with some of the station’s presenters and would occasionally drop into the studios for a minute or two. He never went on air.

Organizers have announced this year’s first annual World
Fashion Week (WFW) will be held in New York next year 2012 but
as a prelude to the global fashion event, there will be a World
Fashion Week Welcoming Gala.
The gathering will welcome leading fashion designers from all over
the world, joining forces to encourage entrepreneurship activities,
women empowerment and the eradication of global poverty, launching the
global campaign ‘give your light to the world’.A total of 48 countries will be featured at the gala and Nigeria’s very own haute couture fashion designer Deola Sagoe is also included in the list of designers set to partake at the event.
The gala which will be taking place on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the prestigious Cipriani, 110 East 42nd Street, New York.
Sagoe began designing in 1998 and has gained international notoriety for her lively and colorful designs. She frequently exhibits her couture collection at fashion week.

On Sunday, October 30, 2011 the contestants were reduced to four as Port-Hacourt based Oni was evicted after scoring the lowest points following the last week’s Afrobeat performances.
20-year-old Oni performed for one last time and called it a wrap.
The talent show now parades a quartet – Christian, Mattade, Tee-Songz and the last girl standing, Vicky.
Remember, the winner of Glo Naija Sings walks away with the grand prize of $100,000. (One Hundred Thousand Dollars).…
