Emmanuel, Chidinma, Joba
The race to the number spot at the MTN Project Fame West Africa reality show continues as the three more contestants received the boot out of the house over the weekend.
Joba, Chidinma and Emmanuel were the unlucky three to leave the house on Saturday, November 19, 2011 reducing the number of contestants in the house to 10.
The three contestants were among the seven contestants with the lowest votes put up for eviction last week. Roy, Racheal, Princess and Ruth who were the other four put probation showed a sigh of relief when they found out they were saved.
Mo’Hits pop singer Wande Coal was also livened up the show as he performed songs off his ‘Mushin 2 MoHits’ album.
The contestants took the audience down memory lane as they jointly performed ‘Rivers Of Babylon’ by Bonnie M. and the Michael Jackson emotional number ‘Earth Song’.
Then the individual performances came rolling in. The 10 contestants performed various songs from musical icons including Aretha Franklyn, Barry White, Abba, Diana Ross.
I must admit that I am very pleased to be here to experience tonight’s show. I have heard a lot of very strong and rich voices tonight and I must commend all of you for pleasing us with your performances’, guest judge of the evening, music producer Cobhams Asuquo said.
Tonight we are going to be judging you on your notes and how well you interpreted the characters in the songs you performed. Some of you lost it along the way with flat notes here and there while some of you did a very good job delivering your keys and entered your characters well so our judgement would be based on these key elements tonight’, Nomoreloss explained to the contestants.
The contestants on probation this week are Ethel, Velma, Ese, Ruth, Roy and Isaac.
