With five albums under his belt, Sound Sultan can be described as a veteran. The inspirational singer/rapper has stayed afloat in the music scene since we all can remember. Sadly, another word can also describe his music career – underrated (no disrespect to Darey, but I feel Mr Sultan fits the title more).
Sultan has practically done everything the textbook has required of him to do and covered a lot of genres too – R&B, Hip-hop, Pop and even a sparse blend of Fuji. All incorporated in his songs, the ‘very good bad guy’ has always tried to pass across a message in his lyrics, however it has seen him hang in the B List section of artistes…
‘All way na way‘ is yet another brilliant effort from him. Describing how man must ‘work before chop’, Sultan urges his listener to get up and get something to do. An easy song that drives a strong message.
