K-Source Releases New Singles

In a bid to stay afloat his game, K-Source has become ‘Insane’doing what he knows how to do best. K-Source’s insanity has got nothing to do with his mental capability, but only a title for his newly dropped single. Born Arohia Kennedy, K-Source’s Insane is a dancehall music and a notch higher than his debut singles, Play Me.
Insane is enjoying significant airplay on radio stations in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano and Abuja. K-Source claims he drew inspiration from a string of events to produce the single. With special appearances, shows and events, there’s only one way for K-Source’s career and that is up. His style and lyrics are purely captivating. K-Source is versatile and can do hip-hop, R and B and highlife. He featured Blue Alies on his single, Insane.
The light-skinned artist is yet to sign-up on any record label despite numerous offers from different recording labels.. “I don’t want to sign for any record lable now because they might not have the time to produce my music. I’m working with my manager, Motion, for now and hope to promote my single and release two more singles before dropping my album. I need a record label with international class before I’ll sing up,” he said.

Talking about his album, K-Source said he is hopeful of working with a handful of proteges like 2 Face Idibia, Ice Prince and Whiz Kid. Talks with 2 Face are already ongoing and he hopeful that the much-celebrated artist will do a duet with him. “I think every Nigerian musician will like to sing with 2 Face. He is good at what he does and over the years, he has proved his mettle,” he stated.
But it’s not been all rosy for the artist, who claims that the plethora of musicians in Nigeria could make it difficult for an artist with no real quality to break through. However, is biggest challenge is promoting his song all by himself. He claims that not all DJ’s have been really helpful. He is optimistic that someday his music will open shut doors to him.
“It’s been pretty difficult for me promote my singles because I have not signed up with any record label. And you can never rule out the financial difficulty that a upcoming artist faces,” he said.
